USC set to take on UK today...

Coach Dave Odom's retirement tour makes a stop at the University of Kentucky and Rupp Arena as the Gamecocks (9-9, 1-3 in the Southeastern Conference) take on the Wildcats (8-9, 2-2), who are coming off a 72-66 victory against No. 3-ranked Tennessee.

The numbers aren't encouraging. USC is 1-20 at Rupp, with the lone win coming in its SEC title season in 1997 on senior day. Odom is 0-6 at Rupp.

The Gamecocks are coming off a 73-71 loss to Florida in their first game since Odom announced Jan. 18 he was retiring at season's end.

But I got hope in the gamecocks that they can win against UK....I know it is a long shot with Chad Gray not producing and Raley-Ross slow to get back into form but as a Carolina fan we always hope for the best. Go Cocks!

Sidenote --- Seems VCU is trying to keep the coach that USC is "rumored" to be after.

If they game was only 35 minutes long, we might have a better record. We can't close out, as seen in the florida and UK game.
