Help Grade Garcia

So how would you rate the performance of Garcia last night? On a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being "stellar."

Garcia finished with 86 rushing yards on 18 carries. He completed 13 of 20 passes for 131 yards, 1 INT and a touchdown. Garcia was running or passing on 38 of USC’s 78 plays, producing 217 of the Gamecocks’ 353 yards and three of five scores.

I would give him a 6 as he did some good things but you could tell he was a freshman out there...he gave some new life to carolina both on offense and in the stands...

I'd give him a five or a six. His running adds a new dimension to our offense, and that's why he should continue to play. But he's far from perfect and didn't show me anything that would suggest he can answer our passing game problems any better than Smelley.

I would give him a 5. I think Garcia should start, but with a very short leash. Because I dont want to go ahead and pack it in this season and leave this season to training a new QB. Plus if he doesnt learn to get down he is going to get killed

I’m going with 7... He had some nice passes and spread the ball around. Remember he is still VERY young and inexperienced. I just think he gives us the best shot to win... on third downs you can't cheat him cause he has the legs to get to the sticks... this will be big in the next coming weeks against the SEC comp....

i go w/ a 6 here. He made some mistakes but he added life to the offense. His running ability is a much needed wrinkle to our offensive scheme. He is not perfect and nor should we expect him to be but it was nice to see him play. True test will come this week vs Ole Miss. Bottom line is we need a answer at QB and for 1 of the 3 to step up and lead!
