Korn to the Rescue?

Will this guy be the savior of the Clemson Football Team in 2007 or is a redshirt heading his way? Comments?

I just don't see this guy bringing back the glory to CU. He was a product of the system (see - Danny Wuerffel) at Byrnes High. Unless there are some major changes to the offensive scheme at CU then we will be just another QB. CU is built to run right now...if Korn is to light it up they will need some more WRs. Don't get me wrong he is good but he is not the Great White Hope at CU that all are praying for. I think the best thing for CU to do is to redshirt the kid in 07 b/c it would benefit them for 4 yrs rather than put him in there in 07 to take hits behind a youthful line.

Getting the Gamecocks to the top of the rugged SEC East might be a tougher challenge for Steve Spurrier than winning at Duke. The Gamecocks have won eight games in a season only nine times in more than 100 years of playing football. Spurrier went 8-5 in his second season at South Carolina and the team's 44-36 win over Houston in the AutoZone Liberty Bowl was only the program's fourth victory in a bowl game.

ACC expansion has largely turned the Tigers into conference also-rans, as they haven't won a league title in 16 years. Coach Tommy Bowden has won 60 games in eight seasons at Clemson, leading the Tigers to a bowl game in all but one year. But the Tigers notoriously have fallen short of lofty expectations during his tenure, including last season's disappointing 8-5 record.

Dumbass of the day goes to Offensive guard Garrett Anderson, who came into preseason drills listed as the starter, is feeling kind of dumb after breaking a bone in his hand during a scuffle with defensive tackle Ladi Ajiboye on Sunday.

Way to Go kid!
