Billy Donovan...He is the single, solitary force that has turned Florida into the hottest basketball program in America. The Gators are historic back-to-back champions after an 84-75 dismantling of Ohio State, a win that has made Donovan the single, solitary candidate to take over the most hotly followed and historic basketball program in America, the University of Kentucky.
Kentucky is coming now and Billy Donovan is going to listen because he spent his career waiting for them, working toward them. When he arrived in Lexington as a 24-year-old assistant under Rick Pitino for his first college coaching job, the entire Big Blue experience blew his mind.
But the future is now. Kentucky will break the bank, will offer creative enticements, business opportunities, anything he wants. Florida will match in as many ways as possible. In the end, as absurd as it is to say about a man being wooed by competing $25 to $30 million dollar contracts, it won't be about the money.

Congrats Cashmoney...
for winning the first annual Leftover Hot Dog - NCAA Tourney Pick'm Challenge!!
He finished with 153 points, 7 better than second place.
Cashmoney got 49 picks out of 63 which got him in the 96th percentile in the overall yahoo fantasy challenge (there was overall 1 million doing the tourney challenge through yahoo this year).
Conrgats to Cashmoney for the win! Thanks to all for playin' and we look to do it again next year!

84-75....UF became the first team to go back-to-back since 1992 and the first ever to repeat with the same starting five.This win completes a 2007 championship-game sweep of the Buckeyes in the two biggest college sports -- men's hoops and football. Florida, a 41-14 winner in the football title game in January, remains the only program in history to hold both championships at the same time. (LOHD saga)
It is a young team....do you think they will 3-peat? They could but those juniors will be off to the NBA and the coach may be gone too but who knows....

Charity of the month
As many of you might know, my good friend Willie P’s Mom has Multiple Sclerosis and is participating in the MS Challenge Walk which is a 50 mile walk to help raise money for a cure. Sport's Most Dominanting Figure...
Tiger Woods said that Roger Federer, men's tennis, is sport's most dominant figure.
Not sure I agree with him on this. Yeah I know...Federer, has won 10 grand slam singles crowns and was in cruise control for his eighth consecutive ATP title when he was upset by Argentina's Guillermo Canas in the Pacific Life Open. It was his first defeat in 42 matches, a run that began after his loss to Britain's Andy Murray in Cincinnati in August 2006.

SC #1 in baseball poll...
Look who is number ONE. South Carolina is #1 in the Baseball America Poll. Here is what it says:
"Less than a week after dismissing top freshmen Lonnie Chisenhall and Nick Fuller, South Carolina won a road series against Mississippi State and ascended to the top spot in the Baseball America Top 25 rankings.
