Spurrier is on the record saying that starting tight end Weslye Saunders will miss Saturday's game with Kentucky because of an ankle injury. Seems he rolled his ankle in between classes in a stair way and it needs more time to heal.
Saunders will be sorely missed as he is the third-leading receiver with 14 catches for 156 yards this season.
Enter Justice Cunningham who will get his first start in place of Saunders. Cunningham has played in all five games doing back-up duty this season and caught his only pass in last week's 38-14 victory over SCSU which resulted in a 9 yard gain for the freshman.
Also USC OL Terrence Campbell remains out indefinitely with a neck sprain.
