Gamecocks v Clemson Video

This sums it up in a simple manner, just hope the stick man fighting translates to victory in collegiate sports also!

Walk-ons given scholly

University of South Carolina men’s basketball coach Darrin Horn has granted scholarships to walk-on players Branden Conrad and Robert Wilder for the 2008-09 season.

Conrad, a 6-foot-2 guard, played in 10 games last season. He had transferred from Navy, then sat out a season before getting his chance to play. He scored six points and had six rebounds last season....yes that is a total not a average.

Wilder, a 6-foot-1 guard from Chapin, played in six games for the Gamecocks last fall. He had three points and two rebounds.....again that is a total and not a average.

The moves gives South Carolina 11 scholarship players for next season, two fewer than the NCAA permits. So now they offically have a practice squad for next season.

In other news...Mr. Gray lands at CCU....good luck to the kid.
