Gamecocks Eric Norwood makes Semi-finalist List for Lott Trophy

Gamecocks LB Eric Norwood joins a leite company of 7 others to be named to the semi-finalist list for the 2009 Lott Trophy.

The trophy is named after Hall of Famer Ronnie Lott, the Lott Trophy is awarded to college football’s Defensive IMPACT Player of the Year. Now in its sixth year, the Lott Trophy is the first college football award to equally recognize athletic performance and the personal character attributes of the player.

Anyone else notice there are 3 players from the state of Georgia on this list and none of them go to UGa?
