Interesting...
Under Armour has partnered with the Wounded Warrior Project organization to support its efforts to help wounded veterans. The University of Maryland and the University of South Carolina will both host Wounded Warrior games on the weekend of 11-14. The teams will be wearing special camo uniforms and the coaches and sideline staff will be wearing special Wounded Warrior product. The camo uniforms will still be regular black, with camo on the sleeves, a little bit on the numbers, and camo shoes. In addition, the names on the jerseys will be removed and replaced with core values of the Wounded Warrior Project – words such as “Courage” and “Strength.”
Under Armour is putting a significant marketing effort behind both of these games and the entire project.
The Wounded Warrior Project provides services and programs for injured military men and women.
I think this is a great idea and look forward to seeing the gamecocks decked out in Camo gear.....will the fans being wearing it also?
