In the midst of gamecock football, there was some gamecock baseball news to report....The Gamecocks have added shortstop Peter Mooney of Palm Beach JC, FL to their 2010 class. Mooney was the defensive player of the year in his district. Mooney was drafted in the 37th round by the Cubs this summer.
For 2011, the Gamecocks gained a commitment from utility player Kevin White of Earlysville, GA.
