SEC Power Poll - Week 2 Ballot

1. Florida
Tebow this, Tebow that....next up UT which should be a good test or a good game to kick mud in the opponents face.

2. Alabama
Continue to get the job done with strong D and nice runs.

3. LSU
Could be scary if offense and defense show up for the same game.

4. Ole Miss
Didn't play yet still hype around this team.  Key match up vs USC around the corner and should tell us what this team is all about.

5. Georgia
Win vs USC hushed the UGa faithful and Joe Cox looked comfortable leading the team.  More tests coming though.

6. Auburn
Gene has this team eating their wheaties or something because this can not be the same Auburn we have watched over the years.

7. South Carolina
Tune up coming vs FAU that should allow more experience for this young team.

8. Arkansas
Gets to see what this team is all about versus Georgia.

9. Tennessee
A ugly loss shut Lane and UT fans up quick.  Will there be more?

10. Kentucky
Didn't play which means UK fans had thoughts about basketball.

11. Vanderbilt
Have a "stay out of the SEC cellar" game coming up vs MSU.

12. Mississippi State
Dan just needs time and most likely wants to get this season over with.
So, did I get anything wrong?

I had SC at #6, Auburn at #8, Tennessee #11

I had SC #6 last week and didn’t move them down. They did better than they were supposed to at Georgia so I didn’t see how they could be worse than last week.

Tennessee took a big drop for me because SEC football schools don’t lose non-conf home games to teams outstide the top 25.
