NC State released their injury report yesterday.
Cornerback DeAndre Morgan will miss the opener against South Carolina with an ankle injury. Stepping up to the reserve spot will be freshman Rashard Smith.
Also listed as out for Thursday: Donald Bowens (WR), Wayne Crawford (C), linebacker Ryan Cheek (hip), defensive end Jeff Rieskamp (hip) and safety Javon Walker (knee).
