Hutch Eckerson is expected to start at right tackle in place of Quintin Richardson, who missed much of this week’s practices while suffering from flu-like symptoms.
Freshman Alshon Jeffery is expected to start at wide receiver in place of redshirt freshman Tori Gurley, the team’s leading pass catcher. Gurley is expected to receive a lot of playing time.
Spurrier also plans to give the majority of playing time at tailback to freshman Jarvis Giles and redshirt freshman Kenny Miles.
Antonio Allen returns as the starter at spur linebacker after sitting out last week’s game because of a concussion.
