With 17 touchdown passes in 2008, Wilson posted the sixth-best total for a season in N.C. State history. Wilson uses his quick feet to move the chains, is accurate and makes spectacular plays and this is what the Univ of South Carolina must contain in 8 days.
Wilson also is a smart qb.....in 275 attempts, Wilson threw one interception in 2008. He ended the season with 249 consecutive passes without an interception. It's the longest streak in school history and the longest active streak in the nation. No wonder he is a All ACC QB contender and has experts talking NCSU winning the ACC.
Ellis Johnson and the USC defense must limit this threat. Must wrap him up, slow him down, get in his face, knock passes down, keep changing looks on D, play smart....all that to win as this kid is truly special whether you like NCSU or not. Containing Wilson is job #1 in 8 days on ESPN for the Gamecocks.

or just have Eric Norwood knock his head off like Jap did last year.
Wilson is a beast. Good thing for you guys NC State doesn't start really playing football until Mid-November.
NC St. vs. USC is a good way to kick off the season! I can't wait...
