Notre Dame, ever boasting its purported moral superiority over thre rest of American colleges and universities, has decided that since they are, in fact, colossal pricks, they will not be releasing Demetrius Jones from his scholarship. Only recently had Jones transferred to Northern Illinois University. Jones, the current sacrificial lamb for the Weis implosion (more on that later), was the eventually named the opening day starting quarterback after days of Weis inexplicably refusing to divulge the starter.

Notre Dame, predictably, says they are on the higher moral ground when they take spiteful revenge on a 19 year old kid. Classy, ND, classy. Notre Dame reactions:

the line on the USC vs LSU game is up to 18. any takers?
The spread will keep going up, since LSU has been on TV twice this year and people have seen there defense, while only seeing Carolina on TV against UGA. Plus ESPN has been highlighting LSU pretty much everyday, While Carolina is kind of a unknown other then there ranking of 12. I would say the spread will probably get up over 20 by the end of the day.
