another open letter to Uncle Dave

Dear Dave,

I am sorry to see that you are retiring from the game you have coached for pretty much ever. Now that the season is almost halfway done, could you at least trying to play a big line up, to see what happens. We have gone small and it worked for one game, now lets try going big. Maybe a line up that consists of Carter, Muldrow, Archie, Fredrick’s and Downey. This way Archie can play small forward, and Muldrow can play power forward, just to see how they would compete at a position they should be playing. This would also help with the dept problem, leaving D Day, BRR, and Holmes to come off the bench as well as everybody’s favorite player, the Lithuanian bomber.

Let me know what you think Uncle Dave.

what about chad gray? what has happened to him? What about Holmes only playing 5 minutes last night. I think Archie and Frederick are way overated. I will be interested in seeing what are next coach does with all these players seeing as we only lose D Day.

JR on the scene

Sources have confirmed to CSTV that newly hired South Carolina defensive coordinator Brian VanGorder is likely to leave Steve Spurrier's Gamecocks and return to the NFL as the defensive coordinator of the Atlanta Falcons. Van Gorder, who joined the USC staff just four weeks ago, is close with new Falcons head coach Mike Smith, whom he worked with on the Jacksonville Jaguars' staff. Van Gorder had previously been the defensive coordinator with the University of Georgia, the head coach at Georgia Southern and linebackers' coach with the Jaguars and Atlanta Falcons.
