Is this South Carolina's new defensive co-ordinator? Rumors overheard being discussed on 1400 The Team suggest that South Carolina may be in talks with Virginia Tech, DC Bud Foster about filling the job vacated by Tyrone Nix. Previous rumors had Foster as a candidate for the Arkansas job. Of course that article also said Bobby Petrino wasn't leaving Atlanta.

I heard on 1400theteam, when Phil was interviewing Bud's Agent from St. Louis that he has not been contacted by USC. Now the he said, she said game starts. I think we will have a DC by the end of the week.
look for Spurrier to fire 2 more coaches on staff --John Hunt and Fred Chatham!
so far the rumor mill has produced ---- Jon Hoke (Texans), Charlie Strong (Florida), Jon Tenuta (Georgia Tech), Brian Van Gorder (Falcons), Kevin Steele (Alabama), John Chavis (Tennessee) and Bud Foster (Va. Tech).
