Is in the air once again with about three weeks to go until USC kicks off the season against MSU on Aug. 31st. The gamecocks are doing the practice thing and I encourage everyone to keep up with what is going on at uscsports.com or at a new site by The State paper at gogamecocks.com.And I read this the other day that I thought was interesting...."In addition, Gamecock fans will experience the latest in technology when they arrive for the home opener on Sept. 9 against Georgia. Fans are encouraged to arrive at the gates to Williams-Brice Stadium early, as a new barcode scanning system will be utilized to gain access to the stadium." USC seems to be going high tech and getting fancy...
So how many games does the readership think USC will win this year? Please post your predictions....

they will finish 8-4 this year in the regular season then win in the bowl game to finish 9-4 overall. Clemson the same as well...
I know I'm a pessimist, but I'll venture 6-6.
I am going to say 7-5, although 8-4 sounds damn good. The hit or miss games will be against Arkansas as well as UGA. I have a feeling UGA is going to be down this year but playing them early doesn't usually pan out for Carolina. Florida will win the east and Auburn the west. I think our offence will be one of the best in the country but our defense will struggle at times. Fred Bennett is no Rock Hill boy so his skills are a little weak. Hopefully Ko and JJ taught him a thing or two last year. Linebacker might be our best position this year with Jasper and Casper showing signs of being real Lb's. Carolina has longed for a Lb that could knock somebody out. Recarod wouldn't be the starting Linebacker at Healthwood.
Humm...I will say 9-3, including kicking the s$$t out of CLEMSON! I always have high expectations though!

auburn owns the west, and i hate to say that urban's offense will click with leak and theyll win the east. we go 8-4 this year but beat georgia and klempsux so im happy.
not too sure about this new barcode thing...sounds suspicously like my student id wont work anymore
