Well boys and girls....two a days have begun and I hope all are excited about the upcoming season not just for USC but for college football in general. This season should be a good one across the country with many stories un-folding like - Can Texas repeat? Is the Southern Cal run coming to an end? 25 years ago Clemson won it all, what will they do this year? And let's not forget the other football teams in the state of SC...especially Furman or "FU" as they are known. They are ranked #5 going into the season and you may remember last year they made it to the final four on Div 1-AA. Anyone notice how funny it is to have on one hand the "Cocks" and the other "FU."

I'm excited. Let's see if this year's players can do more than sign autographs and run without pads! ... On a side note, Furman has the same problem as South Carolina with those who desire to change its nickname. Support FU!
I can't wait for the story lines that come from players that you might not have heard of yet, such as Freddie brown being the next big play maker WR, or jasper Brinkley being the best LB in the SEC, and his Twin brother the best DL. How about can Sidney survive his soph year with out a major slump? Will Noah clean up his act and just play football like Lou Recruited him to do. More stories to come, Can Newton come back for major surgery and play at the potential we all know he can.
Well I think Blake will be fine, he has more weapons this year so he doesn't have to force every pass into sidney. Fred on the other hand might be over rated, but with Captain playing well, and not being sertain of Carlos playing back there. Might have to move west back to Defense to stop somebody. Heard west can't catch anything but is faster then ever. We shall see
