Gamecock Baseball Recruits choose MLB

On the last day to sign or go to school, Brooks Hall signed with the Milwaukee Brewers this afternoon for $700,000. He had signed to play for Ray Tanner but everyone knew he would choose the MLB route, this makes it official. I was holding out hope he would come play for the gamecocks b/c we surely could have used his right arm on the mound.

Also Catcher Wil Myers of High Point, N.C. decided to take the $2 million signing bonus the KC Royals had offered and forgo his college eligibility. Good luck kids!
