South Pointe defensive back Stephon Gilmore made a verbal commitment to play for South Carolina during a news conference Tuesday at his school. The 6-foot-2, 190-pounder is considered by many to be the best defensive back in the state in the Class of 2009. Gilmore picked USC over Alabama and Tennessee.
I feel this is a great sign that the program is heading in the right direction!
