USC Basketball Star Out of Jail

"FREEDOM"...is what USC men's basketball player Devan Downey screamed when he was released from the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center late Monday night, after posting a personal recognizance bond. Seems the Detention Center has a special wing for USC student-athletes these dayz....

Downey, a 20-year-old sophomore, was charged Monday afternoon with simple assault and battery, a misdemeanor. The arrest stemmed from an April 25 incident in which a fellow student, Curtis Lowery of Irmo, alleges that Downey hit him once.

Seems it was over a woman....Downey is suspended from team activities because of the arrest, per athletics department policy.

Seems AD Hyman needs to have a little sit down with Spurrier and Horn to address some issues with behavior and this.

hit him is far from what is being reported. Supposedly it has an open handed bitch slap. Devon appologized at 1st but when then went and told some people that he smacked that guy around. SO dude's ego gets hurt then 9 days later presses charges. This duche bag deserves another slap in the face.
