USC Wins in Oxford

The Gamecocks (11-10, 3-4) managed to escape Oxford with a 80-77 win. It gives USC its' first back-to-back Southeastern Conference victories for the first time in more than a year by upsetting the Rebels (16-4, 3-4). Oh and Ole Miss was #24 so it is extra sweet for the team b/c let's be honest it has been a while.

The game broke Ole Miss' 17-game home winning streak dating back to last season. It is also the first time SC has ever won in Oxford. Thank you Dominique Archie for the late 3 pointer to take the lead with 6 seconds!

keeping shooting the 3 gamecocks, that is the only way we are going to win.

yes the 3's were key but in watching the game I noticed improvements with the interior guys also...it was like they finally understood how to box out and play post defense, not to mention make some easy 'put backs'
