Several things to discuss....

Today, we will cover a few random thoughts. First, last night in Franklin, NC there was a earthquake. So...you may say...... but this is the seventh noticeable temblor to shake the region in the past year. There were no reports of damage in the 3.1-magnitude quake, centered 28 miles north of Franklin and felt from Maggie Valley to Bryson City to Cashiers just before 9 p.m. The town of Franklin is only about 2 hours away from Upstate SC. And I am happy to report that I felt nothing here in upstate SC.

Second, I noticed an article in The State paper about "an Horry County substitute teacher gave cocaine to two 14-year-old girls she met at a private school in Longs and used the drugs with them, police say.
The Faith Christian Academy students told school officials that Kim Pike invited them over to her house where they shared some cocaine in April, principal Sylvia Kenney said." That is one of those stories you just shake your head at and ask "what the h*ll is wrong with society today?"

Third, I am really pulling for GT today over Klempson. Sorry to those orange loving fans that may read this blog but I am really hoping that clemson goes 0-2 in the CWS trip.
