Beer of Choice for the '09 Carolina Football season...

Plenty of folks turn their nose up at Pabst Blue Ribbon, but it’s a great utility beer for outdoor events. I think it will be the "beer for the '09 season" to keep me cool in the columbia heat and since I have joined gamecock club at the half scholly (again) and paid a seat fee and paid for a full book...well cheap beer it is! Thanks Mr. Hyman!
Since we’re getting closer to the start of the football season, it also means we’re getting closer to tailgating. So the question is — what’s in the cooler?

Love the PBR pounders.

My beer of choice always depended on my economic situation for the week and the game's start time. PBR or Yuengling for the day games, Bud Select or Heineken for night games, and whiskey for the Thursday night affairs.

PBR gives too much of a head ache the next day.... JR has panther games to attend and start drinking for on Sundays at 11am... he recommends 2 beers for tailgating that are safe on budget and get the job done.. face it we are going for quantity not quality....1. Busch Light take off the B and H and you are drinking the beer of the Gamecocks! Also it’s about what we drank 90% of the time in college good times... 2. Natural Light, hey it’s from the Carolina’s and it’s also one of the beers that people don't see much so its unlikely that will be their first selection when a random digs a beer our of your cooler…
