If anybody is interested, Syvelle Newton will be performing this Saturday August 23, 2008 at headliners here in Columbia. I am guessing the Canadian football league didn't work out, so he has turned to music. It might actually be a pretty good show, he did write a gamecock song a couple years ago, that was featured during the liberty bowl.

another word on Syvelle is that he is now the QB coach at Brookland Cayce High School.
I cann't remember any recruits we have ever gotten out of there or if any have ever come out of there but this should help. Especially with a former player helping coach and the head coach a part of the Gamecock faithful.
