James Darnell hit his second grand slam home run of the season and Mike Cisco allowed just one run as South Carolina defeated Mississippi 6-2. Cisco limited the Rebels from scoring on Friday until the sixth inning, improving to 5-1 on the year for the win.
Justin Smoak's four hits led the way for the Gamecocks (28-10, 10-6), and Carolina is riding what is now a 8 game winning streak!
