If anybody is interested, Syvelle Newton will be performing this Saturday August 23, 2008 at headliners here in Columbia. I am guessing the Canadian football league didn't work out, so he has turned to music. It might actually be a pretty good show, he did write a gamecock song a couple years ago, that was featured during the liberty bowl.
another word on Syvelle is that he is now the QB coach at Brookland Cayce High School.
ReplyDeleteI cann't remember any recruits we have ever gotten out of there or if any have ever come out of there but this should help. Especially with a former player helping coach and the head coach a part of the Gamecock faithful.
