I think Spurrier knew before it actually happened. Since he said today that there could be a hire in the next 2 hours.

Rumor has it Ellis Johnson has been contacted by the University. The other rumor is, Charlie Strong has also been contacted by Steve Spurrier.

    not typically one to wish bad things to happen to people. But I wouldn't mind if BVG got in a accident on the way to ATL and lost a limb of some sort. Enough to hamper his everyday life and make it a living hell but not enough to kill him
