Barbecue or Barbeque

Leftoverhotdog loyalists:

As some of you know, I travel around the state a lot with my job. Each time my trip coincides with lunch I try to eat barbecue wherever I am. I need some new places to eat. I don't want to know "the Piggly Wiggly in Newberry has barbeque next to the butter." What I want to know is, what are your top 5 favorite barbeque places in South Carolina and why.     Stewarts BBQ in Upstate and Mutts in Upstate are good choices.

    I do love my Barbecue but enjoy the Arkansas que better then SC. But I also like to try every place I see. I did find a website that might help you out.

    Palmetto Pigs is probably my favorite here in Columbia although I do enjoy Shealy’s and Hudson’s from time to time.

    What about Doc's barbeque out on Shop road. I have heard good things about there fried chicken but nothing about there barbeque.
